BUILT TO LAST

We are overthrowing the throw-away, by creating sustainable, strong and stylish products that are designed to be reused and are built to last.

It’s time to switch new to renew

It’s time to stop littering our planet with plastic and switch new to renew. Our solution: Created from recycled. Designed to be reused. Made for life.

We’re giving materials a second life so that you can live your best life, without it costing the Earth.

Globally we only recycle 9%*

Nearly all the single-use plastic water bottles you’ve ever drunk from are still around today. In fact they take over 450 years to decompose. But despite this, in the UK alone, 10 million PET bottles of water are STILL being sold per day!

from plastic to metal

Turning the tide on plastic

Believe it or not, only 9% of the 300 million tonnes of plastic produced every year is recycled. 12% is incinerated, and the rest heads to landfill.

We believe that stainless steel is the key to turning the tide on plastic. It’s hardwearing, naturally insulated and BPA free. No brainer, right?

Let’s make waves

Our products are just the beginning. We want to create a ripple effect of change.

703 million people across the world current lack basic access to clean, safe drinking water. We just don’t think this is good enough.

That’s why we have partnered with charity: water, a global non-profit organisation that’s mission is to help bring clean and safe water to every person on the planet.

By purchasing 1 Metly OG Edition bottle, you will be supporting the provision of 1,400 litres of safe, clean water.

meet the founders

Amit and Karim founded Metly in 2022 and here’s why…

Through working at large corporations we witnessed first hand the alarming extent of plastic use in everyday items, polluting beaches, landfills, and streets - all with our company labels attached.

Armed with this industry experience (and 30 years of friendship!), we were confident we could contribute to finding a solution, setting out to turn the tide on plastic through sustainable alternatives.
